What is a foaming washing-up spray?
A foaming washing-up spray is a convenient and efficient cleaning solution designed specifically for washing dishes. It combines the cleaning power of a washing-up liquid with the ease of a spray format, creating a foam that effectively cuts through grease and grime on dishes. Cutting down on time and water use.
How do I fill my foaming washing-up spray and then refill?
Simply add 470ml of water (ideally filtered water if you have access to some) then add your concentrated refill. Lock the trigger in place and give the trigger a few squeezes (maybe about 3) to fill the internal straw and then you are good to go.
How do I use a foaming washing-up spray?
Using our foaming washing-up
spray is easy. Simply spray the foam directly onto the item you want to clean making sure to cover the surfaces evenly. Then scrub or wipe away with a sponge or brush to remove food particles and stains. Finally, rinse with water to reveal sparkling clean dishes. If you have more heavily stained items then we’d suggest spraying and leaving for a few minutes to let the product work then wipe away and rinse clean.
How do I use the trigger?
There are two ways you can get the best use of the spray. You can either slowly squeeze it for a continuous spray or pull and release quickly for a short burst of foam. We suggest giving it a try and see what works best for the item you are cleaning.
Will your foaming washing-up spray work with me filling the sink with water and adding it like I do with my gel?
Sadly not no. We have designed this product so that you don’t need to fill the sink with water and add the liquid. The key benefit with our foaming washing-up spray is that when you spray you have instant foam meaning the formula is getting to work straight away on what you need to clean.
Is your foaming washing-up spray safe for my dishes?
Yes, our foaming washing-up spray is formulated to be gentle yet effective on a variety of items, including glassware, ceramics, grill pans and non-stick cookware. However, we always recommend checking the manufacturer guidelines for any specific instructions you need to follow for items you are concerned about.
How do I lock the trigger head back on the bottle
Look for the arrow on the neck of the bottle and also on the trigger and then line them up, push down and turn.
Can I use a foaming washing-up spray for other cleaning tasks I want to undertake?
Yes, this product is ideal for using on many surfaces and works particularly well on aluminum, non-wood tables, worktops, windows, plastic you name it. The foaming action helps to lift and remove grease and grime from various surfaces, leaving them clean and shiny.
Can I use a foaming washing-up spray with a dishwasher?
Foaming washing-up sprays are designed for hand-washing dishes and are not intended for use in dishwashers so we would advise against this.
Is your foaming washing-up spray safe for septic tanks?
Yes our formula is safe for septic tank use.
Can I use any other washing-up refills in this bottle?
Sadly not, our formula has been designed to be used with this spray head to get the right foaming action. It also won’t work if you place washing-up gel into the bottle.
Is this formula antibacterial?
No our formula hasn’t been designed to be antibacterial.
Is your foaming washing-up liquid bottle recyclable?
Yes the spray bottle, outer packaging and glass refill are all fully recyclable.
Can I recycle the trigger?
We would advise you to check on our local council recycling website to know if they can take them as there is a metal spring inside the trigger which we know can cause some issues for some councils.
Is your foaming washing-up spray safe for my sensitive skin?
We endeavour to be kind to skin with neat products. This product hasn’t been tested specifically for sensitive skin so if you do suffer with skin dryness we’d suggest you wear rubber gloves.
Can I clean my oven with this foaming washing-up spray?
Yes please feel free to give it a go as it’s great on oven doors and grill pans. Please make sure you wipe away the foam if you do use it inside the oven.
Anything I can’t use this product on?
We’d suggest you don’t use it on any items that are made from cast iron or on untreated surfaces such as marble/granite and wood.
How do I care for my bottle and spray head?
We recommend you clean your
bottle after each refill is finished. Simply rinse the bottle with warm water. To clean the spray head, fill the bottle with clean warm water and pump a few sprays into the sink until there is little or no foam. Wipe the bottle so it stays looking clean.
Does this have a silicone base?
This product doesn’t come with a silicone base as the bottle is made of plastic and isn’t rigged like our aluminimum bottles are which require a silicone base to keep them stable.
Is this formula safe to use?
All our products are plant-based, 100% biodegradable and non-toxic. They are free from dyes and colourants, parabens, phosphates, ammonia, chlorine bleach & sulphates.
